May 23, 2014 (Dauphin MB) - Dauphin Countryfest, in collaboration with the Dauphin and District Allied Arts Council in Dauphin, is bringing a symphonic experience one-of -a-kind for the Parkland area.

The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) is present in the outdoors 24 August at Selo Ukraina (Countryfest site). A dramatic performance by the 50-piece orchestra will highlight the spectacular outdoor amphitheater, while the top of the hill is a promise of a holiday full of fun with handmade cabinets offering all kinds of unique artists and performers in addition to good food and drink, to entertain families at Parkland and beyond.

WSO Music Director Alexander Mickelthwate is waiting to take the audience on a musical journey. "I'm excited to be back in Dauphin this summer to play a programfrom beautiful symphonic music fun with Khachaturian, Brahms and Beethoven all the way to the rock ' n ' roll Elvis Presley. Was going to be a musical world tour as we perform music Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Russia and the United States. "
