Dauphin’s Countryfest At Centre Of New TV Documentary

A new documentary made for television is highlighting the Dauphin Countryfest, which is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary in June.



"Countryfest: The Story of the Longest Running Canadian Country Music Festival" MTS TV is broadcasting to reveal the emotion and tradition behind the music and mayhem.

"We wanted to show people who have never been to Dauphin Countryfest what it is," said director Steve Langston dirty shirt Productions. "We also wanted to connect with fans Countryfest to find out why they keep coming back year after year, and what it means today's feast. For these reasons, we have made this documentary."

The doc 44 minutes is currently running in MTS Stories from Home.

The festival this year is June 26-29, roofed Blake Shelton, with Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tim Hicks and others.
